These "curlies" are available each year for about 2-3 weeks in June. They are available June 10th and June 17th at Boulder Farmer's Market. This $10 bag has about 40 scapes in it. Share with friends and neighbors! Scapes keep in the fridge for about 2 months. Use in every way you use garlic. Chop into pieces and use raw on green salad, potato salad, pasta salad. Makes wonderful pesto to spread on sandwiches or use in pasta dishes. Chop and sautee for about a minute and serve on pasta. Add to cooked dishes: omelets, beans, stir-fry, veggies, eggs, soups, pasta, Asian dishes. Grill or stir-fry whole with olive oil and salt for a side dish.
